Matthew Atherton's 'gigs' over the summer - all at St Mary's Church, Thirsk

Sunday 21st July 3:00pm
Organ and String Orchestra - an afternoon of some organ solos (including "Suite Gothique") and some organ and orchestra (including Walton's Spitfire Prelude).
Free admission with cakes and refreshments available.

Friday 2nd August 7pm for 7.30pm
An organ and piano recital given by me at Thirsk Church to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Holy Rood House, Sowerby. Tickets £10 (I think) to include strawberries and prosecco). The programme is yet to be finalised, but I have been asked to play some jazz and to try and make the organ sound like Blackpool Tower Ball Room, so it should be entertaining.
